Festival Season

Two weekends ago we took an overnight trip to Bedford, PA to see the annual Fall Foliage Festival. It was suppose to be one of the biggest Fall Festivals in PA. The festival had everything a festival usually has, craft booths, candied apples, caramel popcorn, fried food, apple cider, face painting, pony rides, music and puppet shows. Bedford is about three hours away and we were thinking of just driving back home the same day but Sebastian wanted to stay overnight at the hotel. I don't know what it is about hotels but he absolutely LOVES the idea of sleeping somewhere else. I think he associates hotels as being on vacation since we sometimes stay in hotels when we are visiting the beach during the summer.
















































This was a really cool puppet show because the audience (children) were part of the play. The children got to dress up in medieval costumes and act out some of the parts. Unfortunately, Sebastian was getting his face painted when they were picking out the children from the audience. But he enjoyed the whole interactive play. We always thought he should go into the young children theater in our local area because he enjoys acting out.
