Okay, it's official...Ava HATES Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny and now Frosty the Snowman (let's not forget the giant mouse named Chucky Cheese). On Saturday, the daycare hosted "Breakfast with Frosty". I took the kids for breakfast, entertainment and arts and crafts.
Frosty was sitting in the front foyer greeting all the children. Ava took one glance and freaked out. Frosty actually had to get up and walk into another room because Ava wouldn't go past the foyer into her classroom.
No way, no how!!!
Later on, Frosty decided to visit all the kids in each classroom. When Frosty made an appearance in our room......
.....this was her reaction (that is not a smile).
I even tried to prepare her for Frosty's visit by watching the dvd classic story last week. She loved the story of Frosty on t.v., but NOT the real Frosty at the daycare. After I showed Ava's reaction picture to my coworker, she said, "no wonder Ava was frightened...Frosty looks like a sock puppet!"
We received our first snow for the season this weekend as well. Sebastian and Daddy built two snowmen. We told Ava, "See? Frosty will not harm you." She wasn't convinced and so Frosty is having a meltdown in our backyard.
