We've been trying for the past two weeks to get Ava to the hair salon for her first professional haircut . I had trimmed her bangs a few months back when she had really short hair. Well as you can see her hair got really long and past her chin. So every time she had a runny nose, her hair and everything else got pasted like glue in front of her face...lovely. We thought it was time to cut her hair and introduce the bangs again. I wanted a little girl haircut instead of the "Dora" look she had a few months ago. So I asked the hairdresser to taper her hair on the sides and trim the back about an inch. It's like looking at a whole new little girl!
Of course when we first walked into the hair salon, she took one look at the ladies in their black overcoats and started to wail. I think she thought she was at the doctor's office. But after she was introduced to two lollipops and her big brother got his haircut first, she sat calmly on my lap. She was even cooperative when the hair stylist sprayed her hair. I know the lollipops were a bad ploy but I reinstate "desperate times call for desperate measures....."
TA-DAAAAAAA!
