Once upon a potty

Okay, it's Dec 1st and today was our first day back at work. We were off from work for nine days and I took a small Thanksgiving break from the blog world. I didn't go near any computer during our time off but I did take a LOT of pictures. I have a lot of catching up to do!

We have developed a new routine before bath time every evening. After all the clothes and diaper come off, Ava likes to practice sitting on her potty. I know they have been "practicing" at the daycare lately but I think it's more of a novelty rather than a concept. We are "planning" to go through the Boot Camp Training during Christmas break. We already have the little girl under garments. Talk about anticipation huh?

It's funny, Sebastian wasn't potty trained until he was almost three. It was easy to train him on No. 2 because every time he had to do the "deed", he'd make a disappearing act. With Ava, she doesn't care. She'll be playing with her kitchen set or her toys and then come to us when her diaper is maxed out. There's no early warning! So it will be interesting to find out if she's ready or not.

Meanwhile, here is another "blackmail" moment. I love how her toes curl together ;-)
