Halloween 2009

Halloween was kind of anti-climatic and a "wash out". We were just glad we had our Halloween party the week before Halloween. We were thinking of holding the Halloween party on the same night as Halloween (after trick or treating). We are glad we didn't because the kids got drenched in the rain.

Ava was hesitant at first to get out of her stroller and walk to the doors and beg for candy.

But after a few houses, she started to get the hang of it. At first it started to mist and then the raindrops got bigger and bigger. Ava and I started to head for home while Sebastian, Elizabeth, Catherine and Mrs. Shewman continued on. Ava wasn't too happy about ending the trick or treating early. But when she got home and saw the candy we were handing out, she forgot about it.

I had a lot more pictures but they are on the other digital camera. The battery on my portable Canon camera died and I forgot to recharge it. So this is all the pics I have from the trick or treating excursion. When the older kids returned to the house 20 minutes later, they were completely soaked to the skin.
