The cat is out of the bag

The grandparents and family members have added two and two together and got the message. New window shutters, kitchen floor, carpets in the basement, paint makeover and fresh landscaping. Yes, the Hicks's are getting the house ready for sale. We officially put our house on the market on Mother's Day. We are hoping to sell the house over summer while the kids are out of school. We would like to relocate closer to both our jobs. We don't know if our house will sell this year due to a glut in the housing market already.
