Eyes wide open

One of our home improvement projects was replacing all the faded window shutters with new shutters. You can tell the new shutters from the old shutter in the pictures below. Michael did the lower shutters first because they were the easiest. It's the shutters on the upper level that was a little tricky since we didn't have a special ladder. So Michael tied one end of the rope to the bed post and the other end to himself. Who said being a homeowner was fun or safe!

When Ava realized where Daddy was, she automatically flung her arms up in the air and yelled "uppy!" Of course Daddy reciprocated and put his arms up and said "downy!".
