Ava turned three on Sunday. We had a small celebration with the grandparents yesterday. Apparently Ava must have celebrated too much because she had a hard time waking up on Monday. In fact, both kids slept and Daddy and to pry both of them out of their beds. Why doesn't this happen on the weekends??
Ava wanted it to be her birthday "again" so we stopped at the grocery store and picked up some cupcakes to share with her classroom. Of course she saw the ice cream at check out and wanted to buy some of that too. Mommy said the cupcakes were enough ;-)
