This was Sebastian's second visit to the ice skating rink. He's been bugging us all through the holidays to take him skating so we finally took the kids. Here are the sequence of events. The pics pretty much sums everything. I will try to post a video a little later.
Sebastian had a "fall out" at the rink. The first pair of ice skates were too small on his feet but he didn't say anything until he got a blister. He changed his skates to a larger size but by then it was too late and his feet couldn't stand the pain any more. So he had to wait off the ice until his sister was finished. Well that's when the hysteria began. Sebastian started screaming and crying because he thought it wasn't fair that he had to WAIT for Ava. He was the one who wanted to go ice skating and now that he couldn't, it wasn't FAIR that Ava got to ice skate. She wasn't allowed to have all the fun. Iiiii yi yi...with all the dramatic performance my kids give me, they better get a leading role when they grow up so they can afford Mommy's therapy bills :-D
After an hour and ten minutes, Ava still did not want to get off the ice. We literally had to drag her out.
