There were barn cats through out the farm. The kids found a kitten hiding in the corn stalks and had to stop and pet it. Elizabeth wanted to take the kitten home and I said her Father would kill me if that happened.
Kitten UPDATE: I found out a few days later that the black kitten the kids had been so concerned about had been "smuggled" off the farm. This was the offender! Taylor wanted to take the kitten home because it had an eye infection. They nurtured it back to health and is now part of a new family. You can see "Jasper" trying to scale the couch in the middle of the picture.
