This is Ava's usual stance in the morning. After she wakes up, she comes into my room and sits on the back of my make up stool.
This morning she walked out of her bedroom around 5 a.m. and I picked her up and whispered to her, "you need to go back to sleep". She didn't put up a fuss this time and went back to sleep for another hour which was a good thing because schools were delayed.
I call the photos below my "electronic eye" since I'm always peering from behind a camera or iphone ;-)
