Unexpected outing

I had made a flu shot appointment for both kids on Saturday. They were suppose to get the regular flu shot and the swine flu shot. When I made the appointment, they didn't tell me that Saturday was "Clinic" day at the office. It meant that they bring in as many patients as possible to get flu shots. So when we arrived, there were at least 60 families there waiting in line. Suffice to say, the parents weren't happy and the medical staff team were cranky and unfriendly. Thankfully, the kids were well behaved and the adults survived all the moodiness.
The line wrapped all the way around the waiting area and around the front entrance. It was hot and stuffy with all the people in the building.

The "I'm boooored" stance.
Still more waiting...the kids took turns playing games on my iPhone. When we arrived in waiting room no. 2, they went a little faster. The kids were starting to get on each other's nerves (and mine).
After an hour wait, Sebastian went first to show Ava it wasn't too painful. We reminded him that when he was her age, he'd start screaming as soon as the nurse walked into the room or anyone who was wearing a uniform. ;-)
Daddy making sure Ava stayed focus on him and not the needle. Ava not sure what to make of all this....kinda stunned I think. Yaaay....it's all over and not a peep, what a big girl! This was the first time she didn't make a sound or wimper. Usually she goes ballistic when the nurse walks in the room and will hide her face on Daddy's shoulder.
