Ava's Liner Notes

When we left Tam Binh orphanage, they gave us a bag containing formula, bottle with prepared formula and a piece of paper. The prepared formula was warmed up and ready to feed for when we returned to the hotel. Of course, as you saw in my previous post, Ava didn't want to have anything to do with the bottle. The notes on the paper had her feeding schedule and some sidenotes. On her feeding schedule it said she was eating cereal and yogurt. We were surprised to find that out because of the environment she came from. Most, not all, are usuallu several weeks or months behind in development. Such as they don't roll over, hold their head up, push up their bodies, or eat solids. Well, we've learned in the past 24 hours that she is pretty much on target in her development for her age. That pleased me alot and it was a nice surprise. The sidenotes on the bottom of the page say:

- She is a very slow eater
- She likes to communicate (so true)
- She likes to be held
- She sleeps through the night (well almost)
