Crib bumpers

For the past two nights, Ava has been having baby "nightmares" as we call them. She wimpers and cries in her sleep without tears and opening her eyes. She thrashes from side to side in the crib. We were afraid she would give herself a bad bruise so we had to make these makeshift bumpers to pad her crib. We basically rolled up some towels and used our money packs to secure them on the sides. The money bags were the only thing I could find that had elastic on them.

Our poor baby, she has gone through so much in the past few days. Her whole life has been turned upside down. Even though she looks so happy in the pictures, she shows this insecurity through her sleep. We think she doesn't know who to trust right now. It will take a while for her to "trust" us completely. It breaks my heart to hear her wimper.
