Giving and Receiving Day (G&R)

The term G&R in the adoption world means the signing day when you are given your child and you sign a promise to the officials that you will be taking care of one of "their" children. It's also known as the signing day where the child become officially yours. The trip to the G&R was pretty uneventful. Especially when you compare it to the moment you lay your eyes on your precious gift.
